We have recently worked with Cheshire West & Chester Council to provide a key piece of playground equipment to an exciting new project.
The first phase of this project at the Saxons Lane playground will offer exciting play solutions for children of all ages.
This phase was developed with the help of pupils at Hartford High School and Charles Darwin Primary who helped to inspire the design of the playground and the equipment included. The Boat Climber from our popular Toddlerzone range was one of the pieces chosen.
The unit features a subtle boat theme to encourage children social and imaginative play. Different access points featuring varying levels of difficultly make the equipment suitable for a wide of abilities. The unit is completed with a slide, one of the most popular pieces in every playground. Alongside keeping children entertained for hours, slides help youngsters to understand gravity and also to teach them about risk.
Work will start on additional phases later this year and will include a multi-use games area (MUGA), skate area, jogging path, path connections, landscaping and playing pitch improvements.
The playground is being developed with the support of a new local Friends Group and in partnership with the WREN Community Action Fund, Veolia Environmental Trust, ward members for Hartford and Greenbank and Winnington and Castle, Northwich Town Council, Weaver Vale Housing Trust, and Tesco Bags of Help.
We are proud to be a British manufacturer – all of our equipment is made at our factory in the heart of an old Yorkshire mining village. Find out more here – https://www.sutcliffeplay.co.uk/about-sutcliffe-play/british-manufacturer/
