Loose parts play kit SNUG is still going down a storm with children at King’s Cross in London, more than a year and a half after it was first introduced.SNUG was launched at King’s Cross, one of the largest development sites in London, in October 2013. Every day during the summer months between 10am and 4pm, children are invited to ‘roll, tumble, crash and land’ with the equipment.
Cinzia Ferella from Sutcliffe Play visited the site recently and was delighted with the feedback from parents and children.
“We talked to some of the parents who were there with their children enjoying the nice sunny day and they all said how much the children enjoyed playing with SNUG,” she said. “It was great to see the children working together with SNUG, rearranging the equipment to make different shapes or obstacle courses.
“We hope they’ll continue to enjoy it for many years to come.”
SNUG, the colourful and durable loose-parts play equipment which is manufactured by Sutcliffe Play and designed by Snug & Outdoor, is ideal for developments such as King’s Cross. It enables children of all ages to play together, creating their own challenges and playscapes every day.
The kit is also proving its long-term popularity at the Princess Quay Shopping centre in Hull (pictured). The kit is constantly occupied by children who love to explore new ways to play.
