The National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield is hosting a Miners’ Gala Day on 9 June with the help of SNUG, our innovative loose parts play equipment.
The day will also involve children’s activities, music, sports, story-telling, crafts, competitions and much more.
SNUG is an exciting approach to loose parts play and comprises large scale, modular elements that can be used together in any combination.
“We’re very excited to be able to showcase SNUG at the National Coal Mining Museum,” says Sheryl Smith from Sutcliffe Play.
“We have found SNUG to be an ideal addition to attractions such as museums. It encourages problem-solving and scientific play, which is fitting for a museum environment, and triggers interaction between children of varying ages and abilities.”
