Inclusive Ball Courts
Development of our new inclusive ball court came about from discussions with our Dutch distributor and sports specialist Nijha, and in collaboration with two local special schools – Highfield Special School, Ossett and Oakfield Park Special School, Ackworth.
We have taken our standard ball court and adapted it to make it more inclusive and accessible for users of all abilities to play side by side.
Our inclusive ball court has features such as wider access points, smaller side courts for small group working, and lowered side basketball goals for easy reach from wheelchairs. Visual impairment has also been considered with the addition of contrast colours in goal backs. This has all been combined with our standard ball court features including durability, flexible heights, unique noise reduction and slope adjustment.
