Our Treetops swings are 2.4m high and available as either a 1 bay, with either two seat or a single basket style seat, and a two bay with either afour seat configuration or two seat and a basket style seat.

Post and Caps: Rubber post caps with rounded edges safely finish off each upright and are pre-installed at our factory prior to despatch. Joint caps are supplied to form a tamper proof covering for all fixings.

Treetops swings are an important addition to the Treetops range, all studies looking at the use of playgrounds show that swings are by far the most popular item for all age groups.

Within our new Treetops range is a range of swings constructed from two Glulam beams to accompany the main multiplay units. The main Glulam beams are angled to match the main uprights of the multiplays and have opposing metal legs to create a stable, movement free frame. As with all Glulam beams within the range the front legs have an oblique cut top to prevent water ingress and galvanized steel shoes as standard, the rear legs are powder coated steel. A steel reinforced top bar comprising of an outer steel tube of 2 ½” diameter with an inner steel sleeve provides sufficient strength to accommodate any seat confi guration. All top bars interchangeable, hot dip galvanized and fitted with anti-wrap bearings.

Treetops main support beams are constructed from Glued Laminated (Glulam) Larch, a structural engineered wood product comprising of a number of layers of dimensioned lumber bonded together with durable, moisture-resistant structural adhesives. Glulam benefits from being more dimensionally stable than whole log sections with no shakes or twisting or warping. The structural strength is comparable, or exceeds the strength of steel structural beams by weight.
