Product Description

Wooden Climbing Frame.

A large unit with lots of imaginative play value and 14 play feature activities.

It consists of two decks and activities that include a double sided ‘Bow’ climbing wall, a pilots ladder and a slide for descent.

There is an anchor panel with a ships wheel and infill panels that incorporate a loud hailer, binoculars and a firemen’s pole. With a seat under the deck area, a ‘Step and Shuffle’ climber gets the user to the deck as well as a drag ramp as alternative to use, a nautical feel has been followed through with it has a twisted rigging net, flags and different sized sails for effect.

Orchard Ship uses the key elements of the original Orchard range but features a more flexible deck system and a range of new activities and configurations. The interface of timber and steel also has more built in tolerance.

Can accommodate up to 23 users.

Additional Product Information

A Climbing Wall Bow gives the unit a presence on presentations, while offering a climbing activity associated with more expensive units. A Twisted Rigging Net traverses between the fore and aft decks, acting as a ‘child filter’ to discourage younger users from using the more challenging activities at the front of the ship.
Sails and flags – with a flying jib, top sail, moon sail and two flags the scene is set for high seas adventure
A Firemen’s Pole offers a quick ‘abandon ship’ from the front of the vessel
A set of vertical rungs (Pilots Ladder) enable quick access egress or a traverse from the climbing wall to the fore deck.
A ‘Look Out’ Barrier adds to the fantasy games giving the opportunity to look out for ships on the horizon.(binoculars have swivelling action)
A Ship’s Wheel Barrier lets you steer the ship while an anchor motif adds to the theme.
An inclined Drag Ramp with climbing nodules, ropes and a transfer deck facilitates access for wheelchair users with a degree of upper body strength.
A seat below decks gives an opportunity for shipmates to sit and socialise.
A set of Shuffle steps offers an easy step access but can also be used as shuffle decks to gain access to the ship.
A Loud Hailer (with swivelling action) gives the captain the means to shout orders to the crew.
A Stainless Steel Slide with high HPL sides adds to the fun offering a quick exit to sea level.
