Only suitable for use at SEN schools.
Our Inclusive Seesaw has been designed to accommodate up to five users. For younger children there is a ‘Kangaroo/Joey’ seat behind which older children can also stand upright, while a further two children can sit on the center seat.
This seating arrangement also allows for parents or carers to help support disabled users and it incorporates a side entry design with an open transfer seat for ease of access.
The double curve profile of the seesaw arms further aids side transfer and enables the seats to be angled backwards keeping the seating position stable as the seesaw rocks back and forth. Accessible from ground level.
Can accommodate up to 2 users.
This seesaw has a rocking action that is a combination of a free action while the ROSTA is engaged, transforming in to a bounce as the opposing springs take over.
The ROSTAs, profile plates, spindle and bearing assemblies and springs can all be removed for easy maintenance.
Finished in a light grey powder coat finish (RAL 7035), the frame a support frame are constructed from 63.5mm dia x 4.72mm wall steel tube with ancillary frames/ handrails made from 38mm dia x 12 SWG steel tube. All themed panels are routed from HPL, while the central seating platform is routed in Hexastrong non slip exterior grade plywood.
