Product Description

Inclusive Roundabout

Our rotating dish roundabout is one of our most inclusive products, it can be used for very fast dynamic play. The rocking and rotating motion with good body support and security given by the dish shape, make our dishes accessible to all. The angle of the dish and it’s height make side transfer possible and minimise the lifting required by helpers.

Can accommodate up to 2 users.

Additional Product Information

One of our most inclusive ranges, our rotating dish roundabout can be used for very fast dynamic play. The rocking and rotating motion with good body support and security, given by the dish shape, make our dish roundabout very accessible to all. We have both small and larger versions and two that also follow a more themed design with a coloured edging.

The bearing assembly on this dish uses high precision deep groove bearings in machined housings concealed within a 140mm diameter upright post. This arrangement protects the bearings from the elements and makes the assembly tamper proof as it is completely sealed. The unique bearing arrangement of the Dish Roundabout provides both a rocking and rotating motion.

The Dish/Bowl is manufactured from high quality 3mm thick mild steel with 63.4mm rolled tube around the top and coated using a zinc rich pre-coat and polyester powder coat finish. These materials conform to BS 970.

Huge importance is placed on carefully designing inclusive features into our equipment and play spaces to open up play to each and every child.

We believe that every child should have equal access to good, meaningful play opportunities by designing our equipment to enable users with a wide range of abilities, rather than just for disabled children, to enjoy play spaces together, to play together. Play equipment that creates new challenges for all.

Whilst inclusive features are designed into most of our equipment, we don’t make any compromises on the challenge it presents. So with Sutcliffe Play equipment there’s always an element of risk, allowing children of widely differing abilities to develop, explore and find the limits of their capabilities. Because that’s what makes play exciting.
