Product Description

Metal Climbing Frame.

Drawbridge is designed to a castle theme with all the finer details that a castle structure would have and has 11 play feature activities.

Drawbridge with its dual zone design can cater for a wider age group when there is only space or budget for one multi play system.  A stainless steel option is also available upon request.

Can accommodate up to 18 users.

Additional Product Information

Playzone modular system provides the framework on to which the castle themed activities are mounted. The rubber decks and aluminium posts gives the flexibility, strength and durability of our Playzone system.

Drawbridge has been designed to maximise the activities, utilising the posts and avoiding extra foundation / surfacing requirements and their costs. Large decks at incremental heights offer 3m2 of deck space, giving children the space to play together.

The unit is divided in to two distinct zones, with a lower deck at 0.8m designed for younger users and two upper decks at 1.4m and 1.7m for older children. These zones are divided by a ‘child filter’ deck to deck step of 0.6m.

The ‘lower zone’ incorporates an inclined ‘drawbridge’ climbing ramp with feature climbing blocks to enable an easier access. These require a higher degree of coordination as children grow in confidence and skill. A rotor moulded plastic ‘u’ shaped slide offers a quick ‘escape’ back to ground level. A loudhailer in the guise of a cannon gives an additional fantasy play element.

The higher decks feature a leaf stepper utilises a corner post to place a series of ‘foot sized’ leaf shaped steps so the user can scale the battlements. A steep angled ‘vine climb’  offers more challenging ascent to the upper tower with a dungeon window and arrow slot walls completing the castle theme. A 1.7m plastic tunnel chute is the ultimate reward for getting to the upper tower.
