Company update: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We’d like to take this opportunity to reassure our customers that we are working tirelessly to limit the impact of Coronavirus on both our team in the UK and our partners and customers around the world.

We will continue to monitor what is a fast-moving situation and review business protocols as and when necessary. As part of this, we are continually reviewing the advice from Government and healthcare professionals and have already introduced the below measures to protect our employees, suppliers, customers and business partners.

This is an unprecedented situation but we hope we can all work together to reduce the impact of the virus on our business, our employees and our customers so we can continue to deliver the high-quality services and products you expect from Sutcliffe Play.


We are following Government advice and all non-production staff are working remotely with support from senior leaders in the business. As a business we already advocate remote working, so we expect this to have a minimal impact on service levels. Our secure systems are already set up to protect confidential documents and have been tested to ensure there will be minimal disruption to services.

For those staff who remain on site we are sharing the latest guidance on hygiene protocols and social distancing and employee health is being reviewed daily.

All staff have been advised to cancel all non-essential travel and we are limiting visitor access to our offices and factory as part of preventative measure.

Both our office and factory are undergoing daily deep cleans.

Manufacturing & Shipping

As a UK manufacturer we have always prided ourselves on delivering quality products around the world. Currently, we are experiencing no delays on this but we have contingencies in place should this happen. We will keep in regular contact with our customers to update them on this situation.

Customers & Business Partners

We are already in contact with those customers with live projects and as part of our policy to cancel non-essential travel we have introduced conference and video calls.
