Sun Corner updates play area

Springie Seesaw: Exhilarating and fun to ride, this ground-fixed seesaw has easy grip hand and foot holds with anti-slip ends.

Tunnel: Tunnels add an extra dimension to play spaces and are irresistible to children of all ages. This 1.5m tunnel, one of Sutcliffe Play’s Trim Trail elements, presents challenges including balancing, climbing and crawling.

Springie Bike: This bike-shaped springie enables imaginative play and is great fun to ride.

Inclusive Butterfly Roundabout: this piece of play equipment is a flat, revolving 1m diameter rubber disc, set close to the ground. Two support tubes at either side can be used to hold on to or as small back rests for children needing support.

Toddlerzone Boat Climber: Toddlerzone is a modular play system for little ones which has been designed to present physical challenges such as climbing and balancing whilst offering seating and sheltered areas to encourage social play and interaction. Sun Corner features a modified Boat Climber unit, which has a subtle boat theme to encourage imaginative games.

Inclusive Oyster Roundabout: The Oyster can be a fast dynamic activity for older children or used as a social meeting point. With its rocking bearing it can also provide a supportive environment for younger and less able children where a more gentle motion can be introduced. The flat platform is advantageous to aiding access in and out of the dish.

Mission Protocol Unit: Designed for older juniors, Mission offers testing physical play opportunities. Focusing on climbing, traversing, and descending in unique ways, Mission invites children to take part in high energy, invigorating play. The Mission Protocol Unit takes agility and upper body strength to the next level, challenging children and testing hand-eye coordination. Sun Corner’s modified unit has the addition of a Glide, a compact zip-line which speeds down to a gentle stop spring.
