Loxford Park
The largest project of the four playgrounds is set in one of the most deprived and densely populated wards in Redbridge and is part of a master plan to bring the community together and reduce anti-social behaviour in the area.
The new equipment needed to be hard-wearing and provide a wide range of ages with different levels of challenge and play value. We installed 14 new pieces including the multi-play Boat Climber unit that features a subtle boat theme to encourage imaginative and social play and the Space Trainer is one of our most dynamic items and allows youngsters to learn about gravity and centrifugal forces whilst enjoying the sensation of spinning.
Playground classics including swings, a roundabout and seesaw have also been installed to complete the playground.
Seven Kings Park
We added eight pieces of equipment to this playground to give it a fresh new look. These include The Train for younger children which encourages imaginative play and the Daffodil multi-play unit from The Toddlerzone+ range which is designed to reflect a natural theme and features a wide range of play options to keep children entertained. A junior multi-play unit has also been added to cater for a wider age range.
Westwood Recreation Ground
Pieces from our environmentally friendly range of timber equipment has been installed here. The Timber Tangle and Balance Walk are designed to reflect the surrounding environment and help children to practice balance and agility skills. The kit is joined by swings and a hammock.
South Park
We installed a range of equipment to this playground for younger children to enjoy. The Minitown Villa, a colourful multi-play system is packed with 10 activities adding play value to the playground including a slide, pogo climb, wriggler balance and steps and a hide-hole.
