Current Vacancies:

An exciting opportunity awaits the right person – Working in a village location, close to the A1 and M62, at our Employee-Owned factory with offices and bespoke playground.

 

This vacancy will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to become part of the largest employee-owned UK manufacturer in the industry. Reporting to the Design Manager, the successful candidate will join our in house Design Team and will be integral in helping Sutcliffe Play develop the business.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate their ability to:

  • Design new products from cradle to grave
  • Formulate and realise design concepts to a finished manufacturing standard.
  • Complete manufacturing drawings and specifications for use within our manufacturing facility.
  • Prepare sales and marketing information including images and sales literature
  • Assist with the introduction of new models / prototypes in to the factory.

The position may suit graduates or junior designers looking for their next challenge.

Do you have a combination of any of the following experience, education or transferable skills?

  • A degree in a relevant discipline
  • Formulating and realising design concepts to a finished manufacturing standard.
  • Completing manufacturing drawings and specifications for use within a manufacturing facility.
  • Preparing sales and marketing information including images and sales literature
  • Assisting with the introduction of new models / prototypes into the factory
  • Meeting deadlines
  • 3D modelling preferably using Inventor
  • AutoCAD
  • Adobe Creative Suite

The position is full time 36.25 hours per week. 8.30 am – 4.30pm

 

Salary dependent upon experience
