Towns, Parishes & Community Councils
We have been providing playgrounds and multi-use games areas for Towns, Parishes and Community Councils throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland for over 30 years.
We design new playgrounds from scratch, add to existing ones, and often refurbish, keeping old favourites.
Why choose Sutcliffe Play?
Our range is the most extensive in the UK. We offer steel or timber and natural play equipment. We span the age ranges from toddlers, to teenagers to adults. We provide all the traditional playground equipment such as swings, slides, roundabouts, seesaws, some more unusual items such as trampolines, zip wires, trim trails and net climbers and we specialise in inclusive play equipment for children of all abilities. We also manufacture ballcourts or multi-use games areas (MUGA’s), benches and bins, and youth shelters.
Full range of services
We research and consult, design playspaces, design and manufacture play equipment, and refurbish tired play areas. Our Contracts department can take care of installation and landscaping, providing on site project management as required. Finally we can provide after sales service in the form of inspection and maintenance packages, technical support and advice and swift supply of spares.
Free play area design
We have a team of play area designers, led by a qualified landscape architect. We are experienced at consulting with communities and, following a site visit and survey, we will provide comprehensive proposals, designs and costing for a whole landscaped playspace, including draft designs with plan views and 3D visuals. We will then work with you, making amends to ensure you get the play area you want.
Free consultation service
Spending time at the start of a project is vital to getting it right, so if you want to consult with your local community, we can either provide advice on how to go about it, or if it is a more extensive project, we can project manage the community engagement from start to finish. Manufacturing here in the heart of Yorkshire means that if any members of your community would like to visit the factory to see your equipment being made, we would be only too pleased to welcome them.
If you are at an early stage we can help with funding – both giving ideas of potential funding providers to apply to, and quotations to accompany funding applications. We would also be prepared to bring in and work alongside “The Funding Doctors” who provide support for community projects.
